Get back to living a fulfilling, peaceful, & joyful life

If you’re looking at this page, some part of you thinks that it’s time to see if therapy can help you or a loved one. Something in your life needs a tune-up, or maybe a number of areas do.

That’s where therapy comes in. You may be uneasy about this process, scoping out lots of options and trying to figure out which therapist or counselor looks right for you.

About Me

You want to work with someone who is easy-going, but is still on-point. You want someone who doesn’t flinch when you cuss like it’s going out of style, and that can stay with you while you’re describing the ins and outs of your world. You want someone who doesn’t feel compelled to fill powerful silence when your eyes well with tears… you don’t want someone green, and you want someone who’s walked some miles.

On the flip side, you want someone who can keep with your (sometimes dark) sense of humor… laughter is the best medicine, after all. You’re looking for someone who is as excited about your successes as you are, who isn’t afraid to bounce up out the chair when a high-five is in order.

That’s where I come in… I’m here to help spur change along.

I’ve spent my career working with young adults, adults, families, members of the LGBTQ+ population, and people with addiction… I’d be honored to work with you.

My psychotherapy sessions are customized to suit your individual needs, and my treatment style is flexible and accommodating.  My goal is help you achieve your goals and get back to living a fulfilling, peaceful, & joyful life.

I am an experienced Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist and adjunct professor at Pepperdine University in the Graduate Psychology department. I earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology with a minor in Italian Studies at the University of California, and a Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology at California Lutheran University in Thousand Oaks, CA.

I have training in many different modalities, including Feedback Informed Treatment, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Family Systems, Addiction-Free Pain Management, and Motivational Interviewing. I have received intensive training in Feedback Informed Treatment, a modality designed to improve therapy outcomes… basically, it’s my job to help you get better, faster, and this training aims to make me as in-tune and responsive to your needs as I can be. All of the training I have received is designed to build skills to help reduce emotional suffering, strengthen relationships, and improve your quality of life.
