I get it. You are stressed, your tank is running on empty, you have all these emotions bringing down your confidence. Maybe you just started school or a new job and things aren’t what you were expecting, causing you to feel overwhelmed.

Or you want to make one of those changes but the fear of the unknown keeps pushing you back a step. Perhaps you just brought home a baby and meeting everyone’s needs (including your own!) just seems so far out of reach and you feel down or overworked.

There are so many significant life changes that we go through: changing locations, sending kids off into the world, gaining and losing close relationships, retirement. The list can go on.

What do they all have in common? Many tough and unwanted emotions that come along with the change! As a person who has also gone through many life changes I know it can get hard.

Having someone to talk to and learning the skills to deal with the difficulties and manage those emotions can put us on the fast track towards living a satisfying life when it hits us in the face.

Your therapist should be warm, understanding, and non-judgmental. Your therapist should also be skilled in helping you with your needs, be able to walk alongside you, and be another human who gets it. 

What I offer is that safe space you’re looking for. Working with me means working with someone who is compassionate, warm, and who believes in your abilities to come out on top.

I offer therapy for individual adults and couples via teletherapy, or online therapy via video sessions, for people in the states of California and Oregon. Teletherapy is a great way to receive the therapy your are looking for in a way that is convenient for you. If your busy life makes you question doing therapy because of one more place you have to go, then teletherapy is a great option for you. Online therapy has proven to be just as effective as in-person therapy, so you can rest assured that you can receive quality therapy from a place that works best for you.

I earned my Bachelor’s degree at Temple University in Philadelphia, PA, and a Master’s in Science Degree in Counseling Psychology at California Lutheran University in Thousand Oaks, CA.

I have training in different modalities which include the Gottman Method Couples therapy, Family Systems, and Motivational Interviewing. I have been intensively trained in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, a therapy that provides concrete skills to help develop mindfulness, improve relationships, reduce emotional suffering, and increase distress tolerance.

You can schedule your free 15-minute phone consultation to see if we can be a good fit. After beginning therapy with me, we’ll then meet each week and I will partner with you to figure out your goals and help you take steps to meet them.
